iOS 27 on Apple Watch Series 12 — Every New Feature Explained
Apple Watch Series 12 launched with better hardware. watchOS 27 is what makes that hardware meaningful in daily life. Here's every new watchOS 27 feature on Series 12 and what each one does in practice.
Siri AI With Personal Context
Siri on watchOS 27 handles complex, multi-step requests in a way previous versions couldn't. From your wrist:
"Hey Siri, how's my recovery looking?" — reads Readiness Score, HRV trend, and sleep data
"Start a run and remind me to check in with the team when I'm done" — one command, two actions
"What's on after my current meeting?" — reads the calendar without unlocking your phone
Audio Intelligence
With consent, the Watch identifies and remembers key moments from conversations throughout your day, surfacing them as contextual notes or reminders. You don't log anything. If someone mentions a deadline or a follow-up task, Audio Intelligence can prompt you about it later.
Runs entirely on-device. All processing stays local.
Redesigned Health App: Longevity Tab
The Longevity tab aggregates health data across months and connects it to research-backed long-term health markers. Instead of "today's step count," it shows trajectory — whether your cardiovascular fitness, HRV, and sleep consistency are trending toward better long-term outcomes.
Redesigned Health App: Health Age
Health Age estimates your biological age from actual biometric data — fitness capacity, heart health indicators, sleep quality, HRV trends. It updates as your data changes and responds to how you live.
